DESCRIPTION:Welcoming of the Whales\n \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				March 6 from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm \nThe Festival of Whales Foundation and Ocean Institute invite you to a sunset welcoming of the whales ceremony by members of the local Acjachemen Nation out at the Marine Protected Area behind Ocean Institute. \nA reception will be held inside the Ocean Institute following the beach ceremony. \nEvent festivities include food truck cuisine and drinks for purchase\, and the Ocean Institute’s free interactive educational activities and displays\, including a special whaling artifacts exhibit. \n  \nThe ceremony and reception are free to attend.
