Your Experience
This adventure into the Dana Point Marine Conservation Area explores the complex relationships between intertidal organisms and the harsh physical environment in which they live. Students will learn what an MPA is and the importance of them. At the MPA, students will measure physical factors, identify adaptations and conduct population studies on hermit crabs, turban snails, and barnacles.
