We are only open for general admission on Saturdays, Sundays, and select holidays. During the week, we are closed for private educational programs for schools and other groups. Check out our calendar at the button below for upcoming events:
General Admission

Adults: $16.00
Children (3-13): $12.00
Seniors (55+) and Military: $14.00
Infants/Toddlers (0-2): Free!
Ocean Institute staff and volunteers stand ready to guide visitors through a wide range of experiences. Explore marine mammal artifacts, interactive exhibits rotating monthly, and local aquaria. Interact with a shark and ray touch tank and an intertidal touch tank. Bring history to life with a Sailors Life Tour onboard the deck of Spirit of Dana Point.
Make your visit to the Institute memorable with a special activity or tour! You can add on one of our guided squid dissections or sea star feedings at checkout, or upgrade your ticket with a behind-the-scenes aquarium tour!
