There’s no better place to enjoy the boat parade than at the Ocean Institute!
Our parade offerings include:
- Parade of Lights Viewing Party: join us for special activities, live music, hot cocoa, and more!
- Premier Viewing: Watch the parade from the Maddie James Wharf! Includes access to the main party.
- Parade of Lights Cruise: hop aboard our research vessel, the R/V Sea Explorer, and be a part of the parade! (includes admission to party)
About the Dana Point Harbor Boat Parade of Lights:
This annual tradition, now in its 50th year, features a fleet of local boats decked out in twinkling lights and holiday decor! The boats will circle the harbor on December 12, 13, and 14 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. This year’s theme is “Carol of the Boats”.
