Be a part of Ocean Institute’s history as we get ready to celebrate 50 years of ocean education!

Enter our 50^th Anniversary Photo Contest for a chance to have your image featured in Ocean Institute’s 2027 50^th Anniversary Commemorative Calendar! We’re looking for your best photos of marine life, Dana Point, tall ships, ocean adventures, or memorable moments at Ocean Institute. Help us celebrate the past 50 years by sharing the people, places, and experiences that make Ocean Institute so special through your lens.

Selected photographers will be notified by phone or email.

Deadline for submission is SEPTEMBER 18TH 2026!

How to Enter:

Email your submission to guestservices@oceaninstitute.org with the subject line:

50^th Anniversary Calendar Photo Contest – Your Name

Please submit high-resolution photographs using a downloadable file format or file-sharing link (such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer).

Include the Following Information:

• Full name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Photo title (optional)
• Location where the photo was taken
• Approximate date the photo was taken (if known)
• A brief description of the photo
• A statement confirming that you are the photographer and grant Ocean Institute permission to reproduce the image in the 2027 50^th Anniversary Commemorative Calendar and related promotional materials if your photo is selected.
