Join the Ocean Institute Naturalist during the 2021 Festival of Whales. We will be hosting hands on interactive activities on the Maddie James Seaside Learning Center Dock. Learn all about the amazing creatures as they make their annual migration right off our our coast. FUN, SAFE, OUTDOOR experience for the whole family.

Please sign-up in advance as space is limited. Walk-ins will only be allowed when space is available.

March 6th | 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
March 7th| 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
Choose a 1-hour time slot starting at 10:30 am. The last available time slot will be 2:30 pm.
Additional Information:
Dress: We recommend sunscreen, layers, and water.
COVID Precautions: Masks are required.
COVID POLICIES:
Staff and participants must wear face masks. Ocean Institute has increased the frequency of sanitation on public surfaces – door handles, restrooms, etc. Restrooms are available on-site at the Ocean Institute prior to the tour and upon request on the tour. These areas will be disinfected before, during, and after use. There will be access to hand sanitizer and hand-washing stations.
The heath and safety of our guests, staff, and volunteers is and always has been of utmost importance to the Ocean Institute. We are constantly assessing the status of the State and the Orange County’s public health guidelines and making decisions related to the most up to date information from the center for disease control and OC Department of Health.
