Businesses from the community have come together with Ocean Institute to throw an online auction in the celebration of our community’s resilience! Bid on your favorite items from various local businesses and help support the funding for Ocean Institute’s Adopt-A-Class program. From resort stays to gift card bundles, we have something for everyone!

All proceeds for this event go to benefit Ocean Institute’s Adopt-a-Class Program. The Adopt-A-Class program enables underserved students from Title I schools in low-income communities around Southern California to visit the Ocean Institute, all expenses paid. The Adopt-A-Class program is crucial to give these students the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom. The program is truly life changing for these students, as many have never seen the ocean, or been on a boat before.

Support our Adopt-A-Class Program!

Ocean Institute will continue forward with our annual fundraiser, offering a unique and fun evening in alignment with health standards and regulations.

Using all aspects of the picturesque and unique campus, guests will enjoy a private-themed dining experience featuring exquisite meals provided by local restaurants and resorts for their group. Tables will be priced proportionate to the experience (food, view, animals/entertainment).

Dinner will be followed by a one-hour open-air program featuring an acoustic concert, auction, and videos highlighting OI’s mission and accomplishments through the pandemic. Social distance will be maintained between groups. Guests will wear masks when not in their assigned dining/viewing areas.

Proceeds from the event support Ocean Institute’s flagship program: Adopt-A-Class! Through Adopt-A-Class, underserved students in the Southern California area have the opportunity to travel to Ocean Institute to partcipate in one of our amazing educational programs with all expenses paid.
