A Celebration of visiting tall ships!

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in participating in Ocean Institutes Annual Maritime Festival!
This is a fun-filled weekend event with educational maritime and ocean science activities, visiting tall ships, beer gardens, mermaids, pirates, live music, sailor camp, food trucks, and more! Like years past, we will be having a “Peddler’s Village” section of the festival- an area where local craftsman and businesses can showcase their goods. 100% of proceeds benefits Ocean Institute’s operations and educational programs.
Visitors: 8,000-10,000 visitors over 3 days.
Vendors and Food Trucks will be accepted on a rolling basis.

Vendors, Food Trucks and Educational Partners
Festival Dates Sept 13 – Sept 15, 2024
- Saturday, September 14, 2024
- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Sunday, September 15, 2024
- 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Important Dates:
- Applications open: Wednesday, May 1, 2024
- Applications will be awarded on a rolling basis- first come first serve
- Applications close: Monday, August 19, 2024
- Payment due: Monday, August 19, 2024
- The payment link will be sent in the acceptance email
- Vendor/Event Packets will be emailed Friday, August 30, 2024
Special Notes
- There is no designated vendor parking. Vendors can unload in assigned spaces, but cars must be moved to other lots in the harbor/street parking or festival designated parking at Dana Hills Highschool and utilizing the festival shuttle.
- Set-up is Saturday AM from 6:00am – 8:00am
- Tents/tables/chairs can be left overnight, we will have overnight security on-site.
- Clean up: Sunday PM after 5:00pm.
Requirements:
- Tent, weights for tents (sandbags), product, signage, staff, POS system.
- Vendors must be present on both Saturday and Sunday.

Food Truck/Booth Requirements: This is also applicable for vendors booths selling food.
- Mobile Food Facility Permit
- Health Permit
- If your truck is permitted inside OC please provide your permit number during application.
- If you food truck is located outside of OC you will be required to obtain a TFF health permit and pay the applicable fees.
